Round two of the NCL is now on the way.
Same rules as in the first round, the difference is that every match will be played over 6 days instead of 3. However we will start new round every 3 days just as usual. This means there will be 2 matches to play at the same time. Later in this round robin some teams might even have 3 matches to play.
1 team from each group will be eliminated.

Two teams stand out the most after Group Round 1 of NCL backgammon tour!
And that is team Simon (DK) – Landskrona and sweep1963 – hopenfaith!!
Simon (DK) & Landskrona collected most points in Group Round 1 – 30 points, which mean they only lost 1 round.. and that was against sweep1963 & hopenfaith.. whom in their turn werent long behind with collecting points, they got 27 points!

And now Group Round 2 have started… whats new to this round is that after every 2nd Team match we will invite the 5 teams (about 5 teams.. considering the “double team match rounds” we got going in again!!) with the most collected points to so called “Backgammon Gold Coin Tour”! where the 10 players get to play about a gold coin worth 30 days free playtime (individual tournament)!
So while chasing a quarterfinal place for your team you can also collect some free playtime at SP.. nice deal huh?
I think, and hope Group Round 2 will be more pleasant to play than Round 1 was!
BTW, Team braverymoney – teuvo starts with –6 in points as a “punishment” for the lack of games played on Group Round 1.

För att höja stämningen lite i NCL .
Kommer efter de matchrundor som är ute nu, de aktiva spelarna i de vinnande lagen att bjudas in till en singel coin tour i Couronne.
Så det blir lite att kämpa för även före kvartsfinalerna.
Det är 5 rundor kvar , så spelar alla i laget blir det max 24 spelare som får kämpa om guld coinset varje runda ,de 5 sista rundorna. 16 om bara 2 spelar.
Så alltså de spelare som spelat minst 1 match per match omgång i de vinnande lagen får en extra vinst att kämpa om i de 5 sista rundorna (från och med den runda som kommer ut imorron onsdag).
Men för att det ska bli lite spännande får man vinna max ett guld coins så fler får chansen, då kan ni ju tänka på era team mates när ni tar ut lagen:)

Vi har bestämt att från och med nu (3e gruppspelet) får man spela hur man vill inom laget, dvs man får välja vilken spelare man vill att spela, men även att alla 3 spelare i laget får spela i samma lagmatch. Dock är det fortfarande 4 matcher som gäller per lag & lagmatch.
Samma spelare får givetvis inte spela 3 matcher i samma lagmatch!!
Det kommer att bli extra viktigt att rapportera resultat direkt efter spelad match.
Exempel:
Mr D spelar mot riiiv & agaton
wolfman spelar mot Kliii
och Mularn spelar mot riiiv
Ett exempel på där alla 6 spelare spelar i en o samma lagmatch.
We have decided that from now (Round Robin 3) the team can play whit any player of the team, no restrictions., but also the team can play with all 3 team members in the same team match. Allthough there is still only 4 matches to be played each round for each team.
Same player is not allowed to play 3 matches within the same team match!!
It will now be extra important to report all the results, directly after the ålayed game.
The exampla above is an example that shows how it can look if all 6 players (3 players a team) play in the same team match.

Nu kör vi igång sista grund omgången i Couronne!
Nu är det fritt att köra vilka spelare man vill i varje match.
Det blir 2 grupper 8 lag per grupp, de 4 bästa i varje grupp till kvartsfinal.
I kvartsfinalerna kör vi bäst av 3 möten, vi spelar ifrån kvartsfinalerna bäst av 7 set.
I Kvartsfinalerna spelar vi efter bestämda dagar och tider.
Så nu gäller det att vara med från start de som vill vara med och bråka hela vägen :=)

Hey!
I have some information to share with you guys :)
Group Round 2 of NCL Backgammon Tour will get played between 21st October – 28th November!
During Group Round 2 you will collect points through the team matches.. just like in Group Round 1.
The 8 teams that have most points collected after Group Round 2 (not with group round 1 points included, that score will be reset) will proceed directly to the Quarterfinals of NCL backgammon tour!
Which means 3 teams will get eliminated, as we are 11 teams left for Group Round 2.
All games will be played of 7 points through the whole tournament.
The Quarterfinals will get played like this:
Team 1 vs Team 8
Team 4 vs Team 5
Team 2 vs Team 7
Team 3 vs Team 6
But as told the final play of NCL Backgammon Tour will get played a little bit different than ever before in official tournaments at SP?
We will play the team matches - best of 3!
Which means the teams that are faced up against eachother plays 2-3 team matches (depending on if a team wins two team matches in a row or not..you can win with 2-0 or 2-1 in team matches… if its 1-1 after two played team matches, you play one deciding team match..)
Also… If a team match would end up in a tie.. you proceed on playing the remaining team matches.. and if the stand would be 1-1 and 1 tie we will count the set difference in the rest of the games to see which team are the winning team :)
Example:
“Quarterfinal 1.” Team 1: player A and player B
vs
Team 8: player C and player D
Team match 1
player A vs player C 7-3
player A vs player D 3-7
player B vs player C 7-1
player B vs Player D 7-1
Team 1 won team match with 3-1 and 24-12 in set difference.
Before you continue to Team match 2 you must have completed Team match 1!
Team match 2
player A vs player D 7-6
player A vs player C 7-4
Player B vs player D 6-7
Player B vs player C 4-7
Team match tied!
Team match 3
player A vs player C 7-6
player A vs player D 5-7
player B vs player D 7-6
player B vs player C 6-7
Team 8 won team match with 2-2 and 26-25 in set difference.
As it now stand 1-1 and 1 tie in team matches, we count the set difference.
Team 1 won the Quarterfinal with 1-1 and 1 tie, and with 73-62 in set difference!
The Quarterfinals have a time limit of 4 days to get played, same in the semifinal and final game.
So the best thing to do will be to decide which day suits the best to play the team matches!
You play one team match at a time, preferably you play the team matches at one same day.. but that is up to all of you to decide in between the teams.
You report game results to marrubou (not to the NCL-admin account) at SP after every team match.
All Quarterfinals are planned to get played between 1st-5th December.
Both Semifinals are planned to get played between 6th-10th December.
The Final is planned to get played between 11-15th December.

Now we are getting closer to the 2nd group round of BG NCL!!!
We will be 11 teams left in the tournament for Group Round 2.. (Team SexigaTess-hs61) will get taken out of the tournament after this first group round because of inactivity.
More info will follow shortly how the final play will get played after Group Round 2… we will have a bit of a different sort of final play :)

NCL Backgammon tour, Group Round 1
I have add extra days for the time limit for the game rounds to get played in NCL Backgammon Tour too.
Which means you will have two rounds active at once.
Check out the Backgammon game schedule to see how it looks like!
I really hope this will help out to get more games played now.
If you think something feels confusing, or have anything else on your mind just send me a message at SP and I’ll help you out..
We’ll see how this works out, it will lead the way for how the game rounds will look like later on in Group Round 2!

I have removed Team Bobby.C – Trollmor from the NCL backgammon tournament because of inactivity and therefor lack of played games!
They only had played 2 whole game rounds of 6, which made me decide to reset their game result against every team (there has been walkover wins given to a couple of teams). I felt it was the most fair thing to do at this point.
That means we have taken out two teams since the start of NCL backgammon tour.
Which leads to all the current teams that are left in the tournament are “safe” for Group Round 2 of NCL.
BUT, that doesnt mean you should stop playing your games :) A lot can still happen through the rest of Group Round 1 as we now can see it like a trial for which teams will hold their end of the deal for signing up for this tournament?
I mean.. all this doesnt mean there cant be more teams taken out of the tournament because of for example inactivity!
There is another post coming up about more info for the coming rounds of Group Round 1!

Samt alla i respektive grupp möts.
Börjar bli riktigt jämna lag redan i grundomgång 2.
Kan inte ens gissa på vilka som blir sist i respektive grupp och får kliva av tåget ????
Kanske kan spekulera i topp lag i varje möjligen ^^^
Sen utom de lag ja nämner här nedan så flera starka lite outsiders.
Grupp A. Där tror jag lag Cronos , lag Simon (DK), möjligen lag Kliffhanger (som ligger lite dassigt till efter runda 1 med – poäng
men är så bra så de spelar sig kvar iaf som viktigast är nu att inte bli sist) Men de 2 första får nog stå som favoriter i grupp A.

Börjar i vilket fall som helst hetta till redan nu inga lag som kan känna sig jättesäkra om de inte spelar alla matcher.
En sak är säker det blir tufft att “bara “ nå kvartsfinal och sen ro hem vinsten.
Det kommer krävas ett bra lag med spelare i form för att vinna den saken är säker i alla fall.
Kommer att bli spännande att se utvecklingen i grund omgångarna.

Kanske lite nerver snart börjar krypa fram här o där snart också.

Med den största ändringen att vi kör 6 DAR PER MATCH OMGÅNG, MEN KÖR IGÅNG EN NY RUNDA VAR TREDJE DAG SOM FÖRUT.
SÅ KORT SAGT ENDA SKILLNADEN ATT DET ÄR 2 RUNDOR PÅ GÅNG SAMTIDIGT.

Nu börjar de hetta till dags att börja stå på tå lite i varje match nu, iaf för under tecknad haha:D
